Ketamine Preparation

Outline of the Day

Here's what the session looks like from start to finish, so you know what's coming and can settle in with ease.

3 hours total
45 min
Opening & Grounding

We'll prepare for the session, ground the group, and answer any questions. This is a time to arrive, settle your nervous system, and get oriented.

The group will be reminded of tips and techniques to help you navigate your journey.

90 min
Sound Meditation & Ketamine

Sound bath paired with ketamine, with clinical support available throughout.

The sound will help settle your nervous system, invite emotions to surface, open space for expanded awareness, and support inner exploration.

The injection will be in your upper arm, much like a flu shot (but typically less sore).

First dose, then an option for a booster about 20 minutes later. The second dose layers on a second curve, which allows for slightly heightened intensity and more time in the medicine space.

You can always decline the booster, even during your session. There's no pressure.

What will facilitators be doing?

We have experience offering skilled psychological presence. We'll be nearby throughout, monitoring your breathing, signs of distress, and movement. You won't be alone in this.

If you want additional support at any point, you can raise a hand or call out. We're there for you.

45 min
Landing & Integration

Time to arrive back in your body and mind, reorient, and smoothly return. There's no rush here. This is a gradual, gentle process.

You'll have time to re-ground, take in some water, and simply be with whatever came up.

This is a good time to jot down a few notes or impressions if you'd like, while they're still fresh. But there's no obligation. Some people prefer to sit quietly, and that's perfect too.

Now you know the shape of the day. No surprises, just a container.
